Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the design development testing and improvement of mechanical products and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of mechanical components assemblies and systems.
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Prepare engineering documentation technical reports and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Support prototype development testing and validation activities.
- Conduct engineering calculations and basic design analyses.
- Collaborate with manufacturing procurement and project teams.
- Participate in design reviews and implement design improvements.
- Ensure designs comply with company standards and engineering best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng BSc BTech or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 03 years of mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks Solid Edge Inventor Creo CATIA or Siemens NX.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
