Role Overview
As the Junior Lodge Manager you will work closely with senior management to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the property. This is a hands-on role perfect for an ambitious hospitality professional looking to advance their career in lodge management.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests manage check-ins/check-outs and resolve guest queries or complaints efficiently to maintain high satisfaction.
- Operational Supervision: Oversee housekeeping front of house and food and beverage services to ensure standard operating procedures are met.
- Staff Coordination: Assist in supervising scheduling and motivating the team.
- Administration: Handle basic administrative tasks stock control ordering and daily reporting.
- Property Management: Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure the property rooms and common areas are pristine and well-maintained.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in a hospitality or lodge environment (front of house duty management or similar role).
- Education: A diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or Tourism is advantageous.
- Skills: Excellent communication strong leadership potential and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with hospitality property management systems (PMS) and MS Office.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work hospitality hours including weekends evenings and public holidays.
- Logistics: Valid drivers license and dependable transport.
