Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join the Cape Town team on a contract basis. The contract duration will be 12 - 24 months
- Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials including brochures flyers posters banners presentations and advertisements
- Design digital assets for social media websites email campaigns and online advertising
- Create and edit graphics illustrations infographics and other visual content
- Resize adapt and update existing artwork for various platforms and campaigns
- Ensure all design work adheres to company brand guidelines and visual standards
- Maintain consistency across all marketing and communication materials
- Assist in managing and updating brand asset libraries
- Support the marketing and creative teams with day-to-day design requirements
- Work on multiple design projects while adhering to deadlines
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions where required
- Prepare artwork files for digital distribution and print production
- Conduct quality checks to ensure artwork accuracy
- Assist with sourcing stock images fonts and other creative resources
- Maintain organised design files and project documentation
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma Certificate or Degree in Graphic Design Visual Communication Multimedia Design or a related field
- 1 - 2 years experience in a graphic design role
- Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms
- Proficiency in: Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Adobe InDesign Microsoft PowerPoint Canva
- Understanding of design principles typography colour theory and layout
Required Skills:
