Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Junior Finance Manager to join their Port Elizabeth team
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Assist in preparing management accounts
- Support variance analysis and provide insights into cost control and profitability
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Monitor project budgets against actual spend and highlight variances
- Support cash flow management and prepare projections
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations
- Assist with the implementation of financial systems and controls
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance Accounting Financial Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a finance or accounting environment
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements management accounts budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Experience in variance analysis cost control and financial reporting
- Previous experience supervising mentoring and managing a small team of 2-3 junior finance staff
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles financial controls and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting software/ERP systems
