Job Summary
Carry out routine maintenance and preventative servicing on electrical equipment and machinery
Assist with troubleshooting fault diagnosis and repairs of electrical systems
Maintain and repair electrical components including panels motors wiring and control systems
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
Provide basic mechanical assistance when required
Perform inspections to identify potential faults hazards or maintenance needs
Accurately complete maintenance records job cards and reports
Maintain a clean organised and safe working environment
Grade 12
Qualified Trade Tested Electrician
13 years experience in an industrial or maintenance environment
Sound knowledge of electrical systems circuits and fault-finding techniques
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
Valid drivers license with own reliable transport
Must be based in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
Required Skills:
Grade 12 Qualified Trade Tested Electrician 13 years experience in an industrial or maintenance environment Sound knowledge of electrical systems circuits and fault-finding techniques Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings Valid drivers license with own reliable transport Must be based in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
