Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design development and implementation of electrical and electronic systems.
- Prepare and update engineering drawings schematics and technical documentation.
- Assist with electrical calculations component selection and technical specifications.
- Support the development testing and commissioning of electrical/electronic equipment.
- Perform fault-finding troubleshooting and technical investigations.
- Assist senior engineers with engineering projects from concept through to implementation.
- Participate in testing verification and validation of systems and equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers technicians production teams and other engineering disciplines.
- Assist with technical reports project documentation and engineering calculations.
- Ensure designs and engineering work comply with relevant standards specifications and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers when required.
- Travel to client sites or project locations when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- 02 years relevant engineering experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of electrical and/or electronic engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with engineering software CAD PLCs embedded systems or simulation tools would be advantageous.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid drivers licence would be advantageous.
- South African citizenship or valid working rights.
