Job Summary
The Junior Azure Cloud Engineer supports the deployment maintenance monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud-based infrastructure and services in a Microsoft Azure environment. The role suits someone with practical Azure exposure who wants to develop further in cloud infrastructure and DevOps and requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Duties:
- Deploy maintain and support Azure infrastructure and services including virtual machines storage networking Azure SQL and App Services
- Monitor platform health and performance using Azure Monitor and related tooling
- Investigate application and system logs to identify and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot problems across cloud environments Linux and Windows systems and core networking components such as DNS VPN virtual networks and subnets
- Apply basic scripting and automation with Azure CLI Bash and PowerShell to support day-to-day operations
- Follow security fundamentals when configuring and supporting Azure resources
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Practical exposure to Microsoft Azure including virtual machines storage networking Azure SQL App Services and Azure Monitor
- Experience investigating application and system logs
- Experience working with Linux and Windows
- Understanding of basic networking concepts including DNS VPN virtual networks and subnets
- Basic scripting or automation with Azure CLI Bash or PowerShell
- Experience troubleshooting cloud environments
- Understanding of security fundamentals
- Advantageous: Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Docker Kubernetes infrastructure as code Terraform Python Ansible Azure Functions monitoring and logging tools or AZ-104 certification
