We are seeking a Junior Developer (.Net & React) for a permanent vacancy based in East London Eastern Cape
Duties & Responsibilities
Join a small team rewriting a Framework business system into a React front end and an Core REST API on AWS. Youll work under close supervision and mentorship from senior engineers picking up tasks scoped for you with your work reviewed before it merges.
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- C# / .NET can build and debug a .NET application; understands classes async LINQ dependency injection.
- React has built components handled state and props called an API from the front end. TypeScript exposure is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to have every piece of work reviewed take feedback well and ask questions early rather than guess.
- TypeScript EF Core SQL / SQL Server
- REST API design domain-driven design the repository pattern
- Docker AWS (ECS RDS ALB) CI/CD pipelines
- Authentication / OAuth2 / OIDC
- Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code Copilot Cursor)
- Any exposure to older stacks WinForms WCF WebForms Telerik
- Automated testing (unit or integration)
- 02 years experience a recent graduate with real project work or a bootcamp graduate with a portfolio.
- Wants to learn React cloud and AI-assisted development in a mentored setting.
- Careful and methodical this project is about faithfully matching how an existing system behaves so attention to detail matters more than speed.
