Junior Cost Accountant

What the role is about

This role sits at the heart of operations ensuring accurate product costing stock integrity and meaningful financial insights. Youll play a key part in supporting pricing decisions margin analysis and overall financial efficiency across production.

What youll be doing

• Verify and analyse stock counts investigating and reporting variances
• Maintain accurate production orders and ensure correct cost allocation
• Manage bulk stock transactions including purchase orders and reconciliations
• Compile and maintain supplier pricing and costing master data
• Perform cost of goods sold (CoGS) analysis and margin reporting
• Support reporting requirements including compliance and financial surveys

What were looking for

• CIMA / SAIPA Articles
• 2-5 years experience in cost accounting or finance within a corporate or manufacturing/agri environment preferred
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Experience with ERP systems (Business Central advantageous)
• Exposure to inventory costing and production environments
• Own reliable transport
