Our client is a multinational travel and tourism agency on an exciting growth trajectory and theyre looking for a Junior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. The role is fully remote but youll need to be Gauteng-based.
Youll work across a growing international business where no two days are quite the same. Think multi-entity potentially multi-currency accounting plenty of learning opportunities and a team that values initiative over hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping through to balance sheet
- Process and reconcile financial transactions
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records across entities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support finance reporting and ad hoc analysis
- Assist with improving finance processes and efficiencies
- BCom Degree essential
- 1 to 3 years accounting experience
- Travel & Tourism DMC Hospitality or Property experience highly beneficial
- Multi-entity / multi-currency experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Good MS Excel skills
- Experience with Sage Pastel QuickBooks or Xero
- Smart curious and eager to learn
- Strong communication skills - this is important!
- Takes initiative
- Positive energy problem-solving mindset and a genuine go-getter attitude
- Gauteng-based and comfortable working remotely
