Our client in the legal services rental and hospitality industry is seeking to employ an Accountant to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).
- Computer literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- A BCom degree or other accounting qualification will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Sage Payroll Sage Accounting and GhostPractice will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting duties up to trial balance.
- Prepare VAT calculations and submit VAT returns to SARS.
- Process payroll and submit relevant statutory returns to SARS.
- Prepare and submit Workmans Compensation documentation.
- Provide accounting support across the legal services rental and hospitality divisions.
Previous Experience (Advantageous)
- Experience in accounting up to trial balance.
- Experience with VAT calculations and VAT submissions to SARS.
- Experience with payroll processing and SARS submissions.
- Experience preparing and submitting Workmans Compensation documentation.
