Junior Accountant Clerk

As a full-time employee you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of financial statements reports and budgets - Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents - Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns - Maintain accurate and organized financial records - Communicate with clients vendors and other stakeholders regarding financial matters - Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures - Perform general administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field - 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping - Strong understanding of basic accounting principles - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations is a plus We offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
