IT Programme Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to lead the successful planning execution and delivery of large-scale strategic technology programmes. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple interdependent projects ensuring alignment with business objectives effective resource coordination governance compliance risk mitigation and stakeholder communication.

• Lead the end-to-end management of complex IT programmes including scoping roadmap creation delivery oversight and benefits realisation.
• Ensure programme delivery aligns with organisational strategy and technology standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed programme plans timelines and reporting structures.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across technical and business teams.

• Establish and manage programme governance frameworks.
• Facilitate Steering Committee meetings and executive reporting.
• Maintain programme documentation including charters business cases RAID logs and financial controls.

• Own programme budgets and forecasts.
• Track programme expenditure and drive cost optimisation.
• Ensure benefits realisation is monitored and achieved.

• Proactively manage programme risks issues and dependencies.
• Implement mitigation strategies and escalate where required.

• Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality dashboards reports and executive presentations.

• Lead and mentor Project Managers Business Analysts and delivery teams.
• Coordinate external vendors and suppliers to ensure successful programme delivery.

• Matric.
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Business or a related field.

• 8 years experience delivering large-scale IT programmes.
• Experience delivering programmes involving cloud cybersecurity ERP/CRM or infrastructure modernisation.

• PMP PgMP MSP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
• Agile certifications such as Scrum Master or SAFe.
• ITIL Foundation or higher.
