Our client is seeking a Security Specialist/Operations Engineer who operates a highly innovative globally distributed authentication platform serving 100000 user accounts with state-of-the-art Entra ID and Zero Trust architecture.

Qualifications / Experience

• Successfully completed degree in computer science/communications engineering or another degree program or comparable qualification
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience (also internationally) in the IT sector some of them with responsibility of managing large Cloud / Hybrid environments

Level Criteria

• Communication: Influence (Effect change without direct exercise of command where persuasion is required and reaching buy-in might be difficult)
• Delivery: Specify new products processes standards based on organization strategy or set short- to mid-term operational plans. The requests are often unclear and will need substantial investigation to ensure that the specifics are well understood by all parties. Employee may be expected to provide guidance to lower level employees
• Knowledge: Functional expert - Mastery of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organizational practice
• Problem Solving: Improve a product or a system that already exists by making conceptual changes and enhancements. Can manage the solution for complex problems that may require simple solutions but affect multiple systems
• Supervision: Completely independent worker that will only escalate tasks that are complex and outside of their span of control. May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts

Essential Skills Requirements

• Analytical and advanced troubleshooting skills
• Solution crafting and documentation skills
• Advanced knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and IT Security
• Expert knowledge of at least one IAM Solution (preferred OneIdentity)
• Expertise in agile development and DevOps incl. JIRA / Confluence
• Knowledge of current IT architectures vendors and trends
• Incident and Change Management skills
• ITSM ServiceNow Knowledge

Advantageous Skills Requirements

• Practical knowledge of OneIdentity IAM solution
• Ability to review and troubleshoot scripts and code
• Fluent in German speaking and translation
• SAP Knowledge SAP IAM and role model
• Knowledge of Identity access management processes and protocols in Azure and AWS

Role Requirements

As a fundamental part of the domain Digital Identity the team is responsible for the IAM architecture especially for the management of identities accounts and doing so they rely on the consistent use of standards. As part of their team you drive the implementation of their Group IT Strategy.

As an Identity & Access Manager they offer you an innovative and challenging field of activity in the Identities Accounts and Roles Enabling & Migration the process of migration from the legacy world to their new central IAM solution you will be responsible for the analysis conception and implementation of necessary functional building blocks. You constantly keep an eye on options for further automation of their backend processes and the development pipeline.

You work very closely with the internal IAR team and their interface partners especially in the Digital Identity domain (Authentication platform Active Directory PAM Secure Authentication) but also with the stakeholders and requestors from the Group IT.

Regular tasks for you will include:

• Rollout of OneIdentity Solution to the applications (Onboarding) in all areas of Group
• Consulting & Analysis during the rollout of OneIdentity solution to Business Domains (e.g. role modeling)
• Technical consulting of application owners in terms of IAM protocols (e.g. SAML; OIDC; LDAPs)
• Continuous improvement of the current rollout process
• Regular interactions through meetings calls and emails with:
  • Central product owners for IAR
  • Feature Teams of other IAM products
  • Stakeholders / requestors of other PRIMES
  • Clients
• Teamwork and communication across the team.
