Our client is seeking an entry-level DevOps engineer who manages production monitoring and predictive maintenance systems through Kubernetes deployments and automated CI/CD pipelines!

Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes Helm ArgoCD and monitoring stacks (Grafana Prometheus Loki) while supporting worldwide rollout projects!

The ideal candidate is an eager DevOps professional with relevant IT education who brings operations management expertise in Kubernetes deployment and configuration demonstrates experience with pipeline automation (GitHub Actions) and GitOps tools shows knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident Problem Change Management) works comfortably with public cloud providers (Azure AWS) and Linux scripting and is ready to grow through direct supervision while supporting incident management and system migrations!

Qualifications / Experience

• Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work Experience

Level Criteria

• Delivery: Delivery according to specific standards and guidelines where the process and the outcome is clearly defined
• Knowledge: Basic job knowledge obtained though formal education with limited practical experience
• Problem Solving: Follow instructions provided by others
• Supervision: Directly supervised on daily tasks

Essential Skills Requirements

Operations Management:

• Kubernetes Deployment and Configuration over Helm
• Pipeline Setup and Automation (e.g. Github Actions)
• Infrastructure as Code & GitOps tools like ArgoCD
• Experience with ITIL Operation processes (Incident Problem Change management)
• Experience with public cloud providers e.g. Microsoft Azure AWS
• Monitoring with Grafana Prometheus Loki
• Linux and knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash)

General:

• Design Patterns
• Data Driven Architecture

Backend:

• Java (version 17 advantageous)
• Kafka (Streaming API)

Role Requirements

• Incident- Change- and Problem Management support
• Setup and maintain CI CD and GitOps pipelines
• Setup and maintain deployments
• Kubernetes Deployment and Config
• Monitoring with Grafana Prometheus Loki
• Support and implement worldwide rollout projects (migrate old system to new one)
• Take part in regular Scrum meetings via MS Teams. Daily Planning Estimation Refinement Review Retro
• Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate with team members
• Support existing solutions DevOps
