A well-established higher education institution is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IT Lecturer to join its academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences developing academic content assessing student performance and contributing to curriculum enhancement and academic excellence.

- Deliver lectures and facilitate learning across allocated Information Technology modules.
- Prepare and update course content study guides assessments and learning materials.
- Develop administer and mark tests assignments projects and examinations.
- Ensure effective teaching learning and assessment practices are maintained.
- Maintain accurate academic records and submit marks within required deadlines.
- Provide academic support guidance and consultation to students.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic quality assurance initiatives.
- Ensure module content remains aligned with industry trends and legislative requirements.
- Contribute to research innovation and continuous improvement activities within the faculty.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in Information Technology Information Systems Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Masters Degree (NQF Level 9) or progress towards completion will be advantageous.
- Previous lecturing tutoring teaching or facilitation experience within a higher education environment.
- Strong computer literacy and subject matter expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
