Internship & Work Integrated Learning (Wil) Opportunities

The Water Research Commission invites suitably qualified and unemployed South African graduates and TVET learners to apply for a 24-month Internship and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme.

This programme provides successful candidates with valuable workplace exposure practical experience and an opportunity to develop professional skills within a dynamic working environment.

Human Resource Management Intern

Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management Labour Relations Employee Relations Industrial Psychology or related field.

Legal & Auxiliary Services Intern
Graduate Reference Number: WRC/26-02
TVET Reference Number: WRC/27-02
Requirements:
Graduate: National Diploma/Degree in Law Records Management Information Studies & Archives Safety Management Public Management/Administration Management Assistant or related field.
TVET: N6 Certificate in a relevant field with an official letter from the TVET College confirming the requirement for Work Integrated Learning (WIL).

Office Administration / Executive Support Intern

Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Management Assistant Office Administration Office Management or related field.

Monitoring & Evaluation Intern

Graduate: National Diploma/Degree in International Relations Communication Public Relations or related field.
TVET: N6 Certificate in a relevant field with an official letter from the TVET College confirming the requirement for Work Integrated Learning (WIL).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be an unemployed South African citizen.

• Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old.

• Must not have previously participated in an internship programme.

• Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

• Certified copy of South African Identity Document

• Certified copies of qualifications and academic transcripts

• Proof of residential address

• Sworn affidavit confirming that the applicant has not previously participated in an internship programme

• TVET applicants must include a certified N6 certificate and official WIL placement letter
