An leading insurance company is looking for an Intermediate Test Analyst to join their team in Morningside Gauteng.
The Test Analyst will be responsible for supporting the delivery of solutions frameworks and processes through sound technical capabilities. The role will play an active part in testing and delivering cost-effective development solutions while keeping abreast of external developments to improve internal solutions.

The Test Analyst will be responsible for supporting the delivery of solutions frameworks and processes through sound technical capabilities. The role will play an active part in testing and delivering cost-effective development solutions while keeping abreast of external developments to improve internal solutions.
Responsibilities:
Test and Quality Assurance:
- Create test cases and test plans according to user requirements.
- Perform functional integration system and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across applications.
- Identify analyse and document programming errors.
- Verify fixes and ensure identified issues are appropriately resolved.
- Communicate test results to relevant project stakeholders.
- Train users for UAT and obtain UAT sign-off on deliverables.
- Develop training manuals where necessary.
- Support project delivery through effective testing and quality assurance.
- Communicate testing outcomes and findings clearly to users and stakeholders.
- Assist with ensuring solutions meet business and user requirements.
- Adhere to established IT processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Manual testing experience.
- SQL experience.
- Web API experience.
- Knowledge of JSON files.
- SDLC knowledge.
- Boundary analysis knowledge.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience with test automation practices and test automation tools.
- ISTQB or related qualification in Test Analysis.
