Intermediate Software Engineer MEAN Stack

As the company continues to evolve its next-generation platform they are looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer to join their Platform Team and contribute to the development of scalable products integrations cloud-based services and platform enhancements.

As an Intermediate Software Engineer you will contribute to the continued evolution of the platform by:

• Developing and maintaining scalable software solutions across the platform
• Building and supporting backend services using
• Developing and enhancing frontend functionality using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Working with MongoDB and other data technologies
• Developing maintaining and improving APIs and integrations
• Supporting enterprise and ERP system integrations
• Investigating troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Contributing to technical design solution development and engineering best practices
• Collaborating with Product Engineering and Delivery teams to deliver valuable business outcomes
• Taking ownership of features from development through to deployment
• Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
• Contributing to platform performance scalability security and maintainability
• Leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering techniques where appropriate
• Continuously developing technical skills and knowledge

• 3 years software development experience with a track record of delivering production-ready solutions
• Strong development experience
• Good JavaScript and/or TypeScript experience
• Experience with Angular or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience working within modern software development environments
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of Docker or containerised development environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player
• Strong communication skills and a positive solution-focused mindset
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches

• Bun experience
• Python development experience
• Databricks exposure
• ERP or enterprise system integrations
• SaaS or platform engineering experience
• Experience with large-scale software platforms
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor Claude Code GitHub Copilot or similar
• Exposure to AI initiatives machine learning LLMs prompt engineering RAG architectures or vector databases
• Experience working within cloud-native environments
