Intermediate Draughtsman

GRW Holdings is a highly regarded manufacturer of trailers and tankers for Local and international markets. The company is based in the picturesque town of Worcester Western Cape.

We are looking for young dynamic mechanical Intermediate Draughtsman to join the Engineering Department.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to do a Drawing assessment.

Candidate must be willing to relocate or travel to Worcester daily. Shift is 06:00 14:30 from Monday Friday. Flexi hours or remote working hours might be considered.

Typical duties would be:

Conduct research.

Interactions and negotiations with various departments and suppliers required in order to provide engineering deliverables.

Responsible for providing relevant engineering deliverables including 3D CAD model 2D Manufacturing & Assembly drawings legislative documentation and bills of material.

Contribute towards process improvements.

Compliance with safety requirements

Conformance to GRW quality system requirements

Requirements:

23-years relevant experience (Mechanical Engineering environment)

Experience in Automotive Industry would be advantageous.

B tech or Technical Diploma is required

Understanding of technical designs drawings and materials

Computer literate

Solid works experience is essential.

Creo experience advantageous.
