Intermediate C# Developer Devops (C#.Net, CiCd) Cape Town Up To R1.2M PA

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a closely related field (preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of full-time professional software development experience in a team environment.
• Experience working in Agile cross-functional product teams.
• Experience in a SaaS product company startup or scaleup is preferred over enterprise or internal systems backgrounds.
• Technical Core Competencies
• Solid proficiency in backend development with some frontend exposure. Preferably using C#/.NET Core (Web APIs) RESTful APIs and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals including data structures algorithms design principles version control and collaborative workflows.
• Practical experience with SQL and/or NoSQL datastores. Preferably with Entity Framework Core.
• Experience working with modular monolith and/or microservices-based architectures.
• Cloud & DevOps Expertise
• Has personally owned CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments for services they built and shipped not just contributed to pipelines configured by others.
• Experience operating live services in production: monitoring alerting triaging incidents and implementing durable fixes
• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Azure or AWS resources directly (portal CLI or IaC). Bicep or equivalent IaC experience preferred
• Working knowledge of SaaS and PaaS concepts including multi-tenancy availability and scaling
• Container build and deployment experience (Docker Azure Container Apps or equivalent)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and quality
