To design plan and deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing commercial interior spaces by managing projects from concept through to completion while ensuring client requirements project timelines and quality standards are met.

Interior Design & Project Delivery
Minimum Education (Essential):
- Bachelors Degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in interior design with a focus on commercial projects
- Commercial interior design
- Managing projects from concept to completion
- Client relationship management
- Space planning and design development
- Preparing technical drawings and design documentation
- Collaboration with contractors and project teams
- Mentoring or supporting junior designers (advantageous)
- Excellent design communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of interior design principles
- Knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Own reliable transport
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with an extroverted personality and collaborative approach
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS WEIGHTS AND OBJECTIVES
Interior Design & Project Delivery
- Develop creative interior design concepts for commercial projects
- Prepare space planning layouts technical drawings and design documentation
- Ensure projects meet client requirements budgets and timelines
- Coordinate projects from concept through to completion
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Present design concepts and recommendations
- Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Liaise with suppliers contractors and project stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Coordinate installations and project implementation
- Resolve design and project-related challenges
- Ensure compliance with interior design principles building regulations and accessibility standards
- Stay up to date with industry trends materials and design innovations
- Contribute creative ideas and continuous improvement within the design team
