Injection Moulding TechnicianSetter

A leading plastics manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for setting operating and optimizing injection moulding machinery to ensure efficient production and superior product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up adjust and operate injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.

• Perform continuous process optimization to reduce cycle times and minimize scrap.

• Troubleshoot technical issues relating to tooling machinery and materials during production runs.

• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure products adhere to strict specifications.

• Carry out routine maintenance on moulds and machines to ensure minimal downtime.

• Adhere strictly to all health safety and operational standards on the factory floor.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Technician or Setter in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• In-depth knowledge of injection moulding processes polymers tool setting and troubleshooting.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work shifts and handle physical demands on the production floor.

• Technical qualification or trade certificate in plastics manufacturing is highly advantageous.
