Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational HR support to business leaders and employees.
- Manage Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters including disciplinary hearings grievances disputes and CCMA/Bargaining Council cases.
- Advise management on labour legislation HR policies and best practice people management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employees unions and key stakeholders.
- Support the management of industrial action and minimise operational disruption.
- Drive performance management employee development and succession planning initiatives.
- Facilitate HR and IR training for managers and employees.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely recruitment and workforce planning.
- Oversee onboarding induction and orientation of new employees.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation company policies and governance requirements.
- Identify mitigate and report on people-related risks and compliance matters.
- Lead and support HR projects transformation initiatives and culture-change programmes.
- Compile HR reports and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Promote employee wellbeing engagement and organisational effectiveness.
- Perform any additional HR-related duties required to support business operations.
