Hotel Trainer

Job Summary
- Design develop and facilitate training programmes across all hotel departments.
- Develop and implement the annual training plan for both hotels.
- Conduct classroom training sessions and on-the-floor coaching.
- Develop update and maintain training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead new employee inductions and seasonal staff training programmes.
- Assess learning outcomes and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Identify service gaps and implement training interventions to improve performance.
- Promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Monitor employee training progress and maintain training records.
- Support compliance reporting and ensure training requirements are met.
- Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to identify training needs.
- Coordinate all in-house training initiatives across both hotel properties.
- Ensure training aligns with operational standards and brand service expectations.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee performance and guest satisfaction.
- Report on training activities and outcomes to the Head of HR and General Managers.
- Assessor/Facilitator certification (advantageous)
- 3 years experience in hospitality training guest relations front office food & beverage or hotel operations.
- Strong facilitation coaching and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence motivate and engage employees at all levels.
- Strong planning organizational and administrative skills.

Required Skills:
Relevant qualification in Hospitality Training Human Resources Education or a related field (NQF 5) Assessor/Facilitator certification (advantageous) 3 years experience in hospitality training guest relations front office food & beverage or hotel operations Strong facilitation coaching and presentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to influence motivate and engage employees at all levels Strong planning organizational and administrative skills Proactive assertive and results-driven approach
