Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality General Manager for a luxury safari camp based in the Phalaborwa area. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury safari operations guest experience and team leadership.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the camp ensuring world-class service delivery exceptional guest experiences and high operational standards across all departments. This role requires a proactive hands-on leader with a passion for luxury hospitality and personalised service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the luxury safari camp
  
• Lead and coordinate all hospitality departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  
• Ensure the highest standards of service presentation and operational excellence
  
• Manage and mentor department heads and camp teams
  
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where required
  
• Ensure effective stock control budgeting cost management and financial performance
  
• Oversee beverage curio and operational revenue targets
  
• Maintain excellent standards across housekeeping food and beverage maintenance and guest areas
  
• Ensure compliance with health safety security and company standards
  
• Manage guest relations and handle special requests with professionalism and discretion
  
• Drive staff development training and performance management
  
• Work closely with senior management to implement operational strategies and improvements
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or similar qualification
  
• Extensive experience within luxury safari lodge or camp operations
  
• Previous senior management experience within a luxury 4 or 5-star safari property
  
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
  
• Excellent financial and operational management abilities
  
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality service standards
  
• Proficient in property management systems and Microsoft Office
  
• Exceptional communication and guest relations skills
  
• Ability to work well under pressure in a remote environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
  

Package:

• Salary: R30000 R35000 depending on experience
  
• Live-in position
