Hospital eCOIDA PPN Controller (Polokwane)

Job Summary
1. eCOIDA Functions
1.1. The HEP must ensure that all claims received from the Hospital and/or ER unit is registered and all supporting documents uploaded on eCOIDA within 24 hours of receipt.
1.2. Ensure proper PPN management for IOD cases on eCOIDA.
1.3. Monitor and control the flow of paperwork between the PPN client and CompSol ensuring that all accounts are uploaded captured completed and submitted via eCOIDA.
2. eCOIDA Training
2.1. Training of new clients on eCOIDA in terms of the relevant requirements for such clients discipline.
2.2. Provide regular training updates to current clients to ensure that unnecessary queries are eliminated.
2.3. Ensure training sessions are completed with clients as new eCOIDA functions become available.
3. Training & Support
3.1. Provide training to clients in respect of the IOD claim as well as any disciplinary requirements.
3.2. Changes in rules and regulations must be promptly communicated to the clients.
3.3. Provide general support to clients in respect of IOD queries and completion of documents.
4. Client Relationship Management
4.1. Ensure that you assist the PPN clients as needed to reduce each practices number of outstanding queries.
4.2. Ensure that the quality of the clients medical accounts are good and the submission of such accounts result in the minimum queries prior to the pre funding or administration of such accounts
4.3. Monitor the level of client loyalty to CompSol providing effective feedback where the clients have become dissatisfied with the services.
4.4. Provide constant feedback to the CompSol Supervisor or Regional Manager on matters relating to client service as well as queries etc.
4.5. Ensure that the relevant notice is provided to head office if the client changes his/her address administration contact person banking details legal entity etc.
4.6. Assist clients where necessary by approaching non-CompSol service providers or employers to obtain relevant outstanding information or documentation.
4.7. Notify the Sales Representative if any non-CompSol service providers are interested in signing an agreement.
4.8. Establish excellent relationships with both the medical service provider and his/her administration department maintaining a professional relationship so as to not to disturb the working relationship between the service provider and his/her administration department.
5. Geographical Team Liaison
5.1. Consult with the relevant Supervisor if you are not sure about elements regarding the documentation or query list.
5.2. Carry out any instructions from Supervisor with regards to clients promptly and effectively.
5.3. Provide continuous feedback telephonic and email to each Supervisor/Management pertaining to the clients managed by that Supervisor.
6. IT/OPS Liaison
6.1. Monitor and report back on all processing issues you might become aware of on eCOIDA.
6.2. Provide accurate data and examples of any problems encountered whilst working on eCOIDA.
7. Administration
7.1. As HEP you are expected to maintain a balance between client visits and providing timeous feedback regarding such visits
7.2. Ensure that your weekly report feedback is captured onto the relevant database and submitted to
7.3. Prepare and supply weekly feedback to the HEP Co-Ordinator regarding the Hospital Ledger and accounts still outstanding for submission to CompSol.
7.4. Prepare and supply weekly feedback to the HEP Co-Ordinator regarding your Query Tracker.
7.5. Prepare and supply monthly feedback to the HEP Co-Ordinator during the monthly HEP telecon on topics predetermined by the HEP Co-Ordinator.
8. Special projects
8.1. Complete any special projects on instruction from HEP Co-Ordinator Supervisor and/or Management.
8.2. Provide regular and accurate feedback ito projects assigned.
Requirements
1.1 a Minimum of 12 months experience within Compsol as an Account Administrator or higher operational processing position; OR
1.2 a Minimum of 2 years experience externally in medical accounts or medical practice administration.
1.3 a valid drivers licence (ad hoc travel may be required to practices outside of the hospital)
