Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and professional Head Homekeeper to join their team in the Kruger National Park South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee outsourced laundry processes and ensure quality guest and lodge laundry service
  
• Train develop and performance manage staff to maintain productivity and morale
  
• Monitor maintenance issues create snag lists and uphold style and design standards
  
• Manage housekeeping stock consumables and lodge uniforms within budget limitations
  
• Conduct daily room checks to ensure guest suite readiness
  
• Maintain accurate records monthly stock takes and departmental reporting
  
• Recruit induct and manage probationary check-ins for new staff
  
• Discipline staff in line with company Code of Conduct
  
• Control and compile housekeeping budgets accurately
  
• Develop and maintain effective systems SOPs and training materials
  
• Attend daily lodge meetings to align operations and special requests
  
• Contribute to sustainable lodge operations aligned with conservation principles
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of world-class housekeeping standards and procedures
  
• Strong command of English (reading writing and communication)
  
• Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail
  
• Agility and stamina for physically demanding work
  
• Computer literacy (Outlook Word Excel)
  
• Strong administration ability (procurement and stock control)
  
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar establishment
  
• Ability to interpret and manage finances
  
• South African nationality or valid work visa
