Role Summary

A senior BI leader is required to build and run the organisations Business Intelligence capability.

The role oversees data architecture reporting ecosystems analytics delivery and healthcareprovider integrations across pharmacies doctors hospitals and related partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • BI Leadership Shape and implement the BI strategy operating model and team structure.
  • Data Platforms Lead the development and optimisation of the data warehouse data lake and multisource integration.
  • Reporting & Automation Deliver automated operational client regulatory and executive reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Convert business needs into BI outputs and manage crossfunctional delivery.
  • Governance & Quality Implement dataquality security and singlesourceoftruth standards.
  • Analytics & Commercial Insights Grow anomalydetection capabilities and develop BIdriven commercial products.
  • Provider Integrations Manage integrations with healthcare providers via switching platforms and Web API connections ensuring SLAs monitoring and controlled implementation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Data Analytics or similar quantitative field.
  • 8 years experience in data BI or related environments.
  • Proven leadership of a BI or data team.
  • Experience delivering data warehouse/data lake architecture.
  • Strong reporting automation and stakeholdermanagement experience.
  • Exposure to system integrations vendor coordination and delivery management.

Preferred Experience

  • IBM i (iSeries / AS400).
  • Healthcare claimsdata or PBM environments.
  • Qlik (Qlik Sense / QlikView).
  • POPIA dataprivacy governance and FWA analytics.
  • SQL and multisystem data modelling.
