Are you highly organised detail-oriented and passionate about stock accuracy Do you thrive in a fast-paced retail or building materials environment where precision matters If so we want to hear from you. A reputable organization is looking for a reliable and diligent GRV Clerk to join their this role you will be responsible for ensuring every delivery received is accurately checked captured and accounted for as well as play a critical role in protecting stock integrity and ensuring suppliers are paid only for goods that have actually been received.
Job Description:
This position involves:
- Receiving and verifying supplier deliveries against purchase orders
- Inspecting goods for shortages damages quality issues and discrepancies
- Capturing Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) accurately on IQ Retail
- Maintaining accurate receiving records and supporting stock control processes
- Managing supplier returns credit notes and discrepancy reporting
- Supporting stock counts and annual stock takes
- Ensuring the receiving area remains organised secure and compliant with company procedures
- 2 years experience in receiving warehousing stock control or inventory management
- Experience within building materials hardware retail or wholesale environments (advantageous)
- Working knowledge of IQ Retail or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to confidently deal with suppliers and drivers
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
- Matric
