Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Group Financial Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team

  • Manage and oversee the full finance function across all entities within scope ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide functional oversight and support to the Financial Controllers of the company to ensure consistent Group financial policies and controls.
  • Consolidate Group financial results and prepare reporting packs for the CFO and Board of Directors
  • Ensure compliance with statutory tax and regulatory requirements across all entities including NPC-specific compliance for a non-profit company.
  • Strengthen internal controls financial governance and risk management across the Group.
  • Manage annual external financial audit processes and relationships with external auditors for all entities including composition of the annual financial statements.
  • Act as the primary financial point of contact for day-to-day matters freeing the CFO to focus on strategic and commercial priorities.
  • Support the CFO with financial analysis and reporting for strategic initiatives as required.


Requirements

  • BCom Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • CA(SA) or CIMA qualification will be beneficial.
  • Strategic and commercial thinking with commercial experience in a manufacturing environment will be beneficial.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years commercial experience (preferred).
  • IFRS for SMEs knowledge budgeting and forecasting statutory reporting tax exposure.

  • Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency



Required Skills:
