Job Summary
The GroupFinancial Accountant is responsible for preparing monthly statements by collecting data; analysing and investigating variances; summarizing data information and trends. The incumbent prepares monthly and annual statements by assembling data. The position will also be responsible for the financial accounting and statutory financial reporting affairs by ensuring compliance with the Companies Acts requirements.
Key responsibilities would include:
Financial statement review
Compilation of cashflow forecast
Compilation of monthly consolidation
Quarterly reporting
Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Comply with tax filing requirements
Respond to financial inquiries
Provide financial advice
Half year and year-end audits
Prepares special reports as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Financial degree or equivalent at NQF level 7
- CA (SA)
- Valid Drivers License
Experience:
- At least 2 years positional specific experience
- At least 2 years experience in the mining industry will be advantageous.
