My client a multinational leader within the mining industry is seeking a driven finance professional to join their high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to international finance operations and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions. Duties:
- Perform the full accounting function including month-end and year-end reporting
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports
- Maintain the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
- Manage VAT tax and statutory submissions
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and audit requirements
- Oversee cash flow reporting bank reconciliations and treasury-related activities
- Support foreign payments cash management and other treasury functions as required
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Minimum Requirements:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience within the manufacturing or mining
- SAP experience will be highly advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
