A well-established building contractor is looking for an experienced General Foreman to join their team and take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of building projects across Stellenbosch and the Cape Town area.

- Manage and coordinate daily site activities and construction teams.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is completed according to programme and specifications.
- Coordinate labour materials plant and equipment on site.
- Monitor construction progress and maintain production targets.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Work closely with the Site Agent and Contracts Manager.
- Identify and resolve site-related challenges efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of health safety and housekeeping.
- Ensure construction activities are completed within programme requirements.
- 510 years experience as a General Foreman within the building construction industry.
- Proven experience managing commercial industrial residential or multi-storey building projects.
- Strong knowledge of building construction methods and sequencing.
- Ability to lead and manage large teams and multiple subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings specifications and quality requirements.
- Excellent planning coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant construction qualification or trade qualification will be advantageous.
