Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform general housekeeping duties within the workshop including cleaning work areas floors pits and equipment.
Assist artisans technicians and fitters with maintenance repair and overhaul activities.
Load unload move and store materials tools equipment and spare parts.
Prepare tools equipment and workstations before maintenance activities commence.
Assist with the cleaning and servicing of railway components and workshop equipment.
Operate basic hand tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
Remove scrap materials and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
Assist with lifting and moving heavy components using appropriate lifting equipment under supervision.
