General Assistant

The main responsibility of this position is to maintain the cleanliness of the plant area as per the required standards and the loading and offloading of trucks.

Required Skills:

• Housekeeping: Cleaning of plant equipment building and all surrounding areas and tankscontinuously according to the master cleaning schedule
• Loading and offloading of trucks to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
• Reporting of any quality related matters and mechanical/maintenance faults to the relevant supervisor
• Available for all relevant training as required and scheduled by management
• To ensure compliance with safety food safety and environmental procedures as per SOILL policy
• Attend to any other reasonable relevant tasks allocated by management and required by operations

Health and Safety

• Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks
• Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
• Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
• Attend safety education and refresher programmes
• Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill
• Distribute safety information as and when required
• Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times
