Full Stack Developer (Advanced)

In this role you will join a high-performing DevOps team within the Software Engineering group. You will guide technical execution merge practical implementation with technical theory and deliver robust system solutions.

You will operate with high autonomy developing system solutions in line with global quality standards while providing guidance mentoring and check-ins for lower-level team members to ensure robust problem-solving across the system landscape.

• Team / Role Group: DevOps Software Engineering (Advanced Level)
• Experience: 3 5 years of relevant development experience

Qualifications & Experience

Requirements

• At least 3 5 years of relevant development experience.
• Extensive experience in implementing and monitoring software solutions.
• Hands-on experience in testing (manual or automated testing).
• An IT Degree or Diploma is highly advantageous.
• Previous Agile working experience is advantageous.

Technical & Professional Skills

Essential Skills

• Languages & UI Frameworks: JavaScript JS UI frameworks (Angular NodeJS) Python.
• Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture: Strong knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture with basic AWS experience (S3 QuickSight Lambda Glue IAM).
• Database & Infrastructure as Code: SQL (Oracle Postgres) and Terraform.
• API & Microservices: Knowledge of webservices (RESTful) alongside deep expertise in the design development and architecture of Microservices and API-based development.
• Version Control: GitHub.

Advantageous Skills

• JSF and advanced Angular knowledge.
• PaaS Knowledge: Cloud AWS ECS / Fargate / Lambda.
• CI/CD & Build Tools: Jenkins (Provision Configure Maintain Secure Pipelines) and Maven.
• Git Bitbucket Jira and Confluence.
• Broad DevOps engineering exposure.

• Communication: Ability to adapt reach agreements through flexibility and compromise and align stakeholders toward shared objectives.
• Problem Solving & Supervision: Capability to validate solutions developed by others troubleshoot varied system problems and work autonomously with senior mentorship when navigating highly complex tasks.
• Delivery Standards: Ability to clarify business requirements adapt requests to match strict international corporate standards and guide lower-level employees.

Role Responsibilities

Core Development & DevOps

• Serve as a key member of a DevOps team responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of both front-end and back-end application layers.
• Develop systems solutions in strict alignment with quality delivery requirements and Code Compliance & Unit Testing standards.
• Provide continuous support for existing production solutions (DevOps).
• Maintain configure and secure application pipelines and infrastructure.

Agile & Business Analysis

• Participate actively in all relevant Agile ceremonies and contribute directly to the refinement and sizing of user stories.
• Meet directly with end-users to capture analyze and understand complex Business requirements.
• Review and present proposed technical system solutions to the Product Owner or Sub-Product Owner for sign-off.
• Proactively identify risks constraints or impediments resolving them directly or escalating them to relevant parties.

Documentation Quality & Mentorship

• Prepare comprehensive system and technical documentation in accordance with strict ISO standards.
• Actively engage in proactive knowledge sharing mentoring and coaching of team members within your own team and across cross-functional groups.
• Validate that solutions proposed by others effectively address identified technical and business problems.
