Our client in the telecoms sector is seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer (Enterprise AI Products and Internal Copilots) on a contract duration of 6 months.
1. Role Purpose
Design build and deliver full-stack AI applications that turn priority business use cases into usable secure and scalable digital products. The role combines modern web application development backend engineering AI integration RAG agents workflow automation and enterprise system integration.2. Business Justification for the Role
Most priority AI use cases require more than model access; they require usable products with frontends APIs integrations authentication workflows monitoring and governance. This new role closes the gap between AI experimentation and working business applications by combining software engineering and AI engineering skills in one delivery capability.Deliverables Expected in the First 6-12 Months

- Establish clear delivery patterns and reusable assets for priority AI use cases.
- Support at least two to four high-priority MVPs/pilots moving from discovery into controlled pilot or production readiness.
- Create documentation reusable code deployment patterns evaluation methods and operational practices that reduce future delivery effort.
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in delivery speed automation user productivity AI quality operational efficiency or cost avoidance.
- Build credibility with business stakeholders by delivering practical secure and usable AI solutions rather than conceptual prototypes.
- React TypeScript HTML CSS and modern UI component libraries
- Python FastAPI NestJS or Express
- REST APIs GraphQL where applicable webhooks and event-driven integration
- Databases such as PostgreSQL SQL Server Cosmos DB or equivalent
- Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI OpenAI API Claude API or equivalent
- RAG embeddings vector databases and search indexing
- LangChain LangGraph Semantic Kernel or equivalent orchestration frameworks
- Authentication authorization OAuth JWT RBAC and secure API design
- Testing frameworks CI/CD pipelines and source control using GitHub or Azure DevOps
- Practical prompt engineering prompt versioning and AI output evaluation
- 5 years in full-stack software development backend engineering or AI application development.
- 2 years building cloud-based applications or enterprise digital platforms.
- Hands-on experience integrating APIs and third-party services.
- Experience building applications with authentication permissions and secure data flows.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver working software in agile iterative environments.
- Exposure to LLMs RAG AI copilots chatbots automation platforms or intelligent assistants.
- Experience in fintech banking telecoms payments or enterprise technology environments.
- Experience with Azure services Azure AI Foundry Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with document processing knowledge management workflow automation or test automation.
- Experience building conversational interfaces chat applications or voice/IVR support tools.
- Familiarity with responsible AI privacy and secure-by-design engineering.
