permanent Position: Foreman Company: Msuez UK Location: Durban South Africa Contract Details: Full-time permanent Msuez UK a leading construction company in Durban South Africa is seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position that offers competitive salary and benefits. As a Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers subcontractors and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plan and schedule construction activities including the allocation of resources and materials. 2. Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and other construction workers. 3. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. 4. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget targets. 5. Communicate regularly with project managers and other team members to provide updates on project status. 6. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process. 7. Maintain accurate records of all work performed including daily logs progress reports and material orders. 8. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specifications. 9. Train and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. 10. Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns. Requirements: 1. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Foreman in the construction industry. 2. Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and safety regulations. 3. Excellent leadership and communication skills. 4. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. 5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 6. Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget. 7. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 8. Proficient in using computer software such as MS Office and project management tools. 9. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. 10. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in construction management or a related field is a plus.
