FOH / Guide Couple Luxury Safari Lodge Hoedspruit

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate FOH / Guide Couple for a luxury safari lodge based in Hoedspruit.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality-focused couple who are passionate about guest experiences wildlife and working within a luxury bush environment.

The ideal couple will consist of a strong Front of House and Reservations candidate alongside a qualified Field Guide capable of delivering exceptional guest service and memorable safari experiences.

Package:

• Live-in position
  
• Salary: R16000 R20000 per couple depending on experience
  
• 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
  
• Availability: ASAP
  

Front of House / Reservations Responsibilities:

• Manage guest reservations via telephone email and online booking platforms
  
• Process bookings amendments and cancellations accurately
  
• Maintain up-to-date reservation records and guest information
  
• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures including check-in and check-out procedures
  
• Welcome and assist guests with professionalism and warmth
  
• Provide information regarding lodge facilities activities and services
  
• Liaise with housekeeping guiding and operational departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  
• Handle guest queries requests and complaints efficiently and professionally
  
• Ensure high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
  
• Perform general front desk and administrative duties
  

Guide Responsibilities:

• Conduct game drives bush walks and guest hosting activities
  
• Deliver engaging and informative wildlife experiences
  
• Assist with basic vehicle and camp maintenance
  
• Ensure guest safety and adherence to lodge procedures
  

Guide Requirements:

• FGASA Level 1 or Level 2 essential
  
• Valid PDP essential
  
• Valid First Aid certification required
  
• Rifle competency and advanced rifle handling essential
  
• Previous guiding and guest hosting experience required
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous hospitality or lodge experience advantageous
  
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills
  
• Well-presented professional and service-driven
  
• Ability to thrive within a remote bush environment
  
• Positive attitude with a strong team-player mentality
  
• Passion for hospitality and wildlife
