Fitter And Turner

Our client is seeking a qualified Fitter and Turner to join their manufacturing client in Gauteng

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Manufacture repair and modify mechanical components
• Operate conventional machining equipment where required
• Conduct fitting turning alignment and assembly work
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment improvement initiatives
• Ensure all work is completed according to quality and safety standards

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Fitter And Turner Trade Test
• 2 - 3 Years food FMCG experience
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and machining processes
• Experience operating lathes milling machines and related workshop equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
