Our client is seeking a Fire Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance testing and repair of fire protection systems ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. The role also includes conducting inspections supporting fire risk assessments and ensuring all work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Install maintain test and repair fire protection systems including sprinklers fire alarms and suppression systems
Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operational and compliant
Assist with fire risk assessments and site evaluations
Troubleshoot and repair system faults
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Liaise with site teams contractors and stakeholders
Maintain accurate records of work and maintenance activities
Stay up to date with industry standards and technology

23 years experience in the fire protection industry
N3 qualification in Plumbing or Electrical
Knowledge of fire protection systems (sprinklers alarms suppression systems pumps electrical motors)
Understanding of relevant codes standards and building regulations
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to sites
