Finishing Operator

Purpose of the roleThe Slitter/Rewinding Operators key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Slitting rewinding and final quality control to specific customer requirements. To ensure the quality and service expectations of our external and internal customers are met within estimated performance Role:In this exciting role you will:Operation of Slitting machines in the production administration and data capturing relevant to the job according to the systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals (SOPs.)Responsible for efficiently and effectively processing the job as per all SOP and customer effective communication with QC Inspector and Production Shift the systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals (SOPs.)Report and manage equipment problems and coordinate the rectification with relevant departments/ in the support of all Departments and any other area of the business as of defective labels and any job shortages to the QC Shift that quality checks are carried out on all jobs during the slitting and rewinding actively use the Electronic Vision Control systems fitted to certain Rewind to work shifts and overtime depending on the Production : Engage in safe work practices and participate in addressing all safety succeed in this role you will require: Matric Certificate Minimum 3 years experience working in a Production Department as a Slitter/Rewinding Operator. Narrow web Label slitting & QC Experience. Must be prepared to work shifts.
