Job Summary
Join a leading manufacturing business in a succession-planning role designed for a recently qualified CA(SA). Gain mentorship leadership exposure and a clear pathway into a senior finance management position.
Job Description:
- Support and progressively assume responsibility for the full financial accounting and administrative function
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and financial reporting processes
- Monitor working capital including debtors creditors and cash flow management
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports for divisional management
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax and internal reporting requirements
- Review balance sheet reconciliations journal entries and general ledger accounts
- Support capital expenditure planning and cost management initiatives
- Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and process enhancements
- Develop within a structured succession plan leading to a senior finance leadership role
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified CA(SA)
- Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience
- Manufacturing industry experience advantageous
- Exposure to stock management beneficial
- Strong financial reporting analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial reporting systems such as JDE QlikView Hyperion or similar
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong leadership potential integrity and business acumen
