Job Summary

Thusa Batho Labour Solutions invites suitably qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Financial Services Compliance Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight of compliance and governance functions.
Ensure adherence to applicable financial services legislation regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Monitor and maintain compliance frameworks policies and procedures.
Identify assess and manage regulatory and compliance risks.
Support business operations through effective governance and risk management practices.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
Promote a culture of ethical conduct accountability and regulatory compliance.
Provide guidance and support on regulatory obligations and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification in Law Business Management Accounting Finance Risk Management or a related field.

Professional & Regulatory Requirements

Must meet the Fit and Proper requirements applicable to the role.
RE1 RE3 and RE5 certifications are required.
Relevant FSCA regulatory examination certification required.

Experience

Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience within the financial services sector.
Proven experience in compliance governance risk management or regulatory oversight.
Demonstrated experience in a senior compliance or regulatory leadership role.
Strong understanding of the South African financial services regulatory environment.
