Job Summary

Lehigh Universitys Office of Financial Aid is looking for a detail-oriented systems professional who finds satisfaction in making complex processes run smoothly and in knowing that the work directly shapes students ability to afford a Lehigh education.

Position Number:S89880

This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $37190-$44640 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.

What Youll Own

  • Administer and maintain financial aid information systems ensuring ongoing data integrity and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate day-to-day operational financial aid processes across the full aid lifecycle from packaging through disbursement
  • Serve as the functional subject-matter resource for financial aid systems supporting staff across Financial Aid and Admissions
  • Troubleshoot system issues escalating and resolving problems in a timely and documented manner
  • Identify analyze and support the implementation of business process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor compliance with institutional state and federal financial aid regulations and reporting requirements
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation for systems processes and operational workflows
  • Collaborate with IT the Registrar and Enrollment Management on system updates testing and integrations
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of federal and state financial aid reports and audits
  • Provide training and ongoing support to Financial Aid staff on systems functionality and updated processes

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three to five years of work related experience
  • Experience administering student information or financial aid systems Ellucian Banner or a comparable platform strongly preferred
  • Strong data accuracy habits and comfort managing high volumes of detail under deadline
  • Effective communication skills across technical and administrative audiences
