Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full accounting and reporting function
- Preparing accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
- Conducting financial analysis to identify trends risks and growth opportunities
- Supporting strategic business decisions through insightful financial information
- Managing budgets forecasts and cash flow planning
- Ensuring compliance with tax legislation financial regulations and company policies
- Driving improvements in financial processes controls and reporting standards
- Working closely with executive teams and operational stakeholders
- Assisting with audits and maintaining strong governance practices
- Leading and developing finance teams where applicable
Qualifications
- BCom Accounting Financial Management or a related finance qualification
- Current and active SAIPA Registration
- A completed finance-related qualification
- Experience in a Financial Accountant Management Accountant Financial Manager Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting reconciliations and accounting principles
- Experience with budgeting forecasting and financial performance monitoring
- Exposure to financial systems ERP platforms or accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A results-driven mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
