Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and cash flow management
- Manage VAT calculations and statutory submissions
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with financial controls accounting standards and company policies
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting efficiencies
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience
- Strong exposure to financial reporting reconciliations and month-end processes
- Previous experience within Fintech Financial Services Payments or a technology-driven environment will be advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP and cloud-based accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
