Company and Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant CA(SA) to support key finance functions across reporting compliance governance and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideally suited to a newly qualified CA(SA) or finance professional with completed articles who is looking to gain meaningful exposure within a high-performance finance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and month-end processes
- Assist with audit tax and statutory compliance activities
- Prepare reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Contribute to budgeting forecasting and financial analysis processes
- Assist in improving finance processes and strengthening internal controls
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Support governance and regulatory compliance requirements
- Participate in finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Qualification:
- CA(SA) CIMA or equivalent finance qualification
- Completed articles highly advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum 0-2 years post-articles experience
- Audit background preferred
- Exposure to financial reporting and compliance environments
Skills:
- Strong academic track record
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
