Finance Manager Forex

My client a well-known retail giant is looking for an experience Financial Manager - Forex to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Chartered Accountant who enjoys combining technical excellence with strategic thinking in a fast-paced retail environment.

What Youll Be Doing

As the Forex FM youll take ownership of the organisations foreign exchange portfolio ensuring effective currency risk management while supporting buying teams with competitive costing rates. Your work will help protect profitability strengthen financial controls and enable better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage foreign currency exposure through effective forward cover buying and hedge accounting.
• Oversee foreign exchange reporting reconciliationsand month-end financial processes.
• Forecast the financial impact of exchange rate movements and support annual budgeting.
• Monitor market trends and economic developments to optimise forex strategies.
• Ensure compliance with forex policies regulatory requirements and financial controls.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and banking partners to deliver efficient forex solutions and continuous process improvements.

What Were Looking For

• Qualified CA(SA) with at least 3 years post experience.
• Experience in financial and management reporting ideally within a retail or commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange hedge accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Google Workspace and advanced MS Excel.
• A commercially astute detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical planning and stakeholder management skills who thrives under pressure.
